More than 850 Japanese ornamental cherry trees bloom here every year around mid March to create the magical effect. This cherry blossom street is in the famous Rainbow Neighbourhood of Almere and maintained by The Rainbow Neighborhood Foundation. As the name suggests, this neighbourhood is designed by many famous European Architects with rainbow theme coloured buildings and streets. The cherry blossom street has added another dimention to its popularity.

The tunnel effect created by the alignment of the cherry trees makes it so special and attracts the photographers around!
